When her sneeze and cough and perhaps flu germs projected airborne droplets
across the dozen of patients in the ER waiting room, one shouted out, “Cover
your mouth when you cough, Stupid.” I clapped. I knew from that moment I needed
a website to allow people to talk and write about the anger or control they feel
when some people just don’t cover their germs. Okay some little rhinoviruses
will escape, even with tissue. It’s inevitable you cannot cover every
molecule. And the end result uncovered? You catch it: the flu, virus, a
bacterial infection, that darn cold or some disease. And then you need to deal
with, oh my, healthcare.
So, here it is. Hope this message spread as
fast as a flu epidemic. Please tell me your comments, short stories, ditties,
poems. All about the frustrations, how depressing it is, how unfair it is, when
people don’t cover their mouth and noses when they sneeze and cough.
Just keep it PG. Gross is okay, after all, this is disgusting. Just keep it
clean, LOL. We want children to get this message, also.
